Omegle is a very popular site where users can chat with others anonymously . The service randomly pairs you in one-on-one chat window where you can chat anonymously over text or webcam

Indrajeet Bhuyan, an ethical hacker from Assam found out that the website is not so anonymous as it claims. All chat logs are stored in Omegle servers even after an user disconnects from the conversation.

Indrajeet developed a Python script (script is a program or a set of commands that can be executed on a computer) to penetrate into the Omegle servers and download chat logs from the server. His script fools the Omegle server into thinking that he is a genuine user and through this he can virtually log in to any user account and download all their chat history.

The loophole in Omegle servers exploited by Indrajeet was also posted in The Hacker News which is one of the most reputed technology websites on the planet.

Most of the chat websites and tools are not so anonymous and private as it seems and Indrajeet nailed it on the claims of Omegle being completely anonymous for all its users.
