Assam lad Rupam Roychoudhury, has been bestowed with the recognition of: ‘Matte Painter’ from US’s prestigious The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), New York.
He received the recognition for his contribution in the famous children’s web series “Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure.”
This programme is an extension of the multiple Emmy Award-winning ‘Lost in Oz.’
It was selected as ‘OUTSTANDING CHILDREN’S ANIMATED PROGRAM’ by the 2016-2017 Daytime Emmy Awards.
Rupam who hails from Guwahati, is currently based in Japan, and works as a Digital Matte Painter at POLYGON PICTURES.
On Tuesday Rupam’s sister- Kuntala Roychoudhury, updated a facebook post, expressing her excitement on Rupam’s success and said that he’s probably the first from Assam to receive such appraisal.
