Manashi Saharia of Udmari village in Kalaigaon qualifies for the final round of audition in the ‘Voice of India KIDS 2017’, sponsored by Essel Vision Production, a Mumbai-based TV production company.
The talented Class VI student earlier qualified in the preliminary audition for Northeast India region on September 3 in Guwahati.
Later, proved her talents in the eastern zone audition held in Kolkata on 11th September and qualified for the national audition to be held in Mumbai this month.
Manashi she was adjudged as the ‘Voice of Darrang’ twice also securing first position in the All Assam Jyoti Sangeet competition held at Rabindra Bhawan, Guwahati.
She is the daughter of Anupam Saharia and Jitu Moni Saharia, who are also into musical world.
Her father Anupam Saharia is a well-versed artist in tabla and drum while mother Jitumoni Saharia is a singer with a degree in Classical Music as one of the feather of her wings.
